The Chinese Festival and Latin American and Caribbean UniDiversity Festival both bring learning opportunities that will be fun for the whole family! Read below about each of the fesitvals going on in Oxford this weekend:
Date: Friday, September 22, 2:00 - 9:00 p.m.
The 3rd annual Chinese Festival, hosted by the Confucius Institute at Miami University will return to Oxford this weekend for a day of cultural fun. Join in on the fun of learning more about Chinese culture and language through activities, food and prizes! The festival is free and open to the public.
See below for the festival’s schedule of events:
2:00 - 3:00 p.m. -- Learn some Chinese Martial Art moves and practice with your friends at this activity on Cook Field.
3:00 - 4:00 p.m. -- Learn about the history and culture of Chinese kites and enjoy some time flying the kites around Cook Field!
5:30 - 7:00 p.m. -- Move the fun to Oxford’s Uptown Park for some games, raffles, food tasting, language learning activities and much more!
7:00 - 9:00 p.m. -- Sit back and relax to enjoy a cultural performance on the stage in Uptown Park!
Date: Saturday, September 23, 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Location: Uptown Parks

Intended to promote diversity and inclusion in Oxford, the UniDiversity Festival will bring cultural activities that are fun for all ages. The festival is free and open to the public.
