Sweet Things in Oxford

There are plenty of neat places and spaces in Oxford, but there are certain things that make our town especially sweet. If you have a sweet tooth that you just can’t kick to the curb, our local businesses have you covered!

Oxford Doughnut Shoppe

This small business is just what it sounds like—fresh, delicious doughnuts made daily! Whether you are into the classics like a chocolate frosted doughnut, or if you agree that you’re never too old for colorful sprinkles…the Oxford Doughnut Shoppe has something for you! Plus, it is one of several stops on the new Butler County Doughnut Trail. Pick up a passport at the shop!

Our town has quickly fallen in love with this Cincinnati favorite. Good thing it’s right Uptown! Graeter’s has a perfect mix of flavors—both typical and seasonal. For the chocolate lovers, Graeter’s takes chocolate chips to a whole new level. Stop in to see what we mean!

Insomnia Cookies

Dessert doesn't have to be right after dinner...at Insomnia Cookies, night owls can satisfy their sweet tooth until 3 a.m. If you get your cookies delivered, you can keep track of their status all the way from in the oven to at your doorstep with the Cookie Tracker. Although, nothing beats the smell of fresh baked cookies when you order a cookie (or two) in the store!

These aren’t the only delicious places in Oxford. You probably know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but did you know it could also be the sweetest? Head to Patterson’s to try their Oreos and cream pancakes. Of course, many of our local restaurants have an alluring dessert menu. If you are in the mood for homemade pie, stop in 45 East Bar and Grill for a turtle cheesecake or chocolate brownie pie that surely won’t disappoint. For more desserts, check out Kona Bistro’s dessert menu—everything is made from local ingredients.

Certainly, there are lots of yummy treats that we didn’t mention here. Get out there and find your favorites!
