If you’re looking for opportunities to be active while enjoying the city, Oxford, Ohio is the place to be. Of the many opportunities to lead a healthy lifestyle, Oxford’s yoga in the park is a long-time community favorite.
Join in every Saturday of the summer for free yoga in the park! Sessions are from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in Uptown Park. All ages are welcome so bring the whole family!
The session offers a full yoga workout for every experience level. Instructors demonstrate the poses and give attendees different variations for many poses, based on their ability. If you’ve never tried yoga before, don’t let that stop you! Everyone is welcome.
Free Yoga in the Park is made possible by McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, Coalition for a Healthy Community - Oxford Area, City of Oxford and Interact for Health - Thriving Communities.
The June 24, August 5 and August 12 sessions will be held in the backyard of Lewis Place (310 E. High St.), home of Miami University President Greg Crawford and First Lady Renate Crawford.
Be sure to bring your own mat, if you have one! For those who don’t own one, a limited number of of mats will be available at the park.
So round up the family next Saturday morning and come check it out! And be sure to stop by the farmers market on your way home for some local favorites.
We’ll see you there!
